The three thousand computers of the HAMK University of Applied Sciences are used by eight thousand people.

- We have a total of around ten IT framework agreements, information system head Jari Kivelä reports.

The cooperation with Businessforum began a year and a half ago when Businessforum was contracted to deliver HP routing switches. A contract that was signed in August 2005 covered WLAN products from Proxim and Orinoco as well as some 300-400 Samsung monitors.

- Businessforum has turned out to be a reliable and fast supplier. For us, it is particularly important that there is flexibility in deliveries. We do not always have time to order everything on time, and since we are dealing with large quantities of items, we have been able to agree on special arrangements with Businessforum, KivelŠ says.

The polytechnic school is currently building a wireless network. The supplier of the school's wireless networks changed after Businessforum won the latest round of competitive bidding.

- The prices of the top suppliers are almost the same. What is important is that the products match our specific needs and that the partnership is sure to run smoothly.
